A Forgotten Finish And Some Baking

This is a UFO-quilt I finished back in october 2008,
thinking of showing it to you later,
but totally forgotten! It is a baby/crib quilt, made from a pattern I found in a
American Patchwork and Quilting magazine, 3 or 4 years
ago.
On the other hand,
I had a kind of baking-day today.
My husband is home for the week-end, and my two oldest kids
are home for winter-break.
They went down-hill skiing for the day,
while my little princess and I stayed at home.
She has been home from school since tuesday, sick with pneumonia,
and wasn't ready to got out in the snow yet.
She is on antibiotics and is getting better.
So we baked!
Buns with cardamom and raisins, lots of raisins!
Since both my son and little princess are diagnosed with coeliac decease,
we also had to make some gluten-free buns.
It's not my favourite part, since my earlier efforts haven't been too sucsessful!
Making gluten-free cakes is a lot easier!
But I am slowly getting there!
As you can see in the photo below!

Here are the "normal" ones!

Tastes lovely with butter and norwegian brunost, "brown cheese", and a cup of hot chocolate with whipped creem!
This is what they were served as an after-ski meal when they were back home again!

Hope you all have a wonderful week-end!
Take care!
May Kristin

PS! This post was started yesterday (saturday) and finished today (sunday)!
Which means the whole "event" took place yesterday! LOL! DS
