Sewing Update

There has been a little more sewing done!
But first, a little update on my little princess and DH.
The princess is better, back in school, but not in perfect condition.
DH came home last friday, tired, but safe,
one week too late,
and 15 minutes before I went to Denmark for the week-end
with my work!!!
It was good to have him back home again, anyway!

And then to the sewing...

...here are the blocks on my design-wall...
...crazy wind-mill!
I love this block, and I've wanted to make a quilt, using this block,
for a long, long time!
Thank you for the fabrics, Stina....I love them!  And I think they look fresh and
great in this quilt!

But I could need a little help from you, ladies...

I would love to hear what you think!
Thank you!

Take care!
May Kristin

I see more "rotation" from "blowing wind" with them on point. But I like both looks. The blocks are all so pretty.

LOVE those blocks May Kristin -- I've always wanted to make them too! I love them any way, but if you absolutely make me pick a favorite, I might choose on point!

Love your fabrics and colors and whirlygig is such a fun block. I like both settings but on point is very interesting.

I love them on point.

wow, they both look fantastic, not sure which way is my favourite, but maybe I will have to make one of these too!!! I love it! great to hear your DH is home. My parents and sister have flown to the UK, lucky for them the planes started flying again, they managed to get on their flight one day after.

I like the on point setting the best. The fabrics do look very alive. Great work.

This is a great block, but I like the movement in the one on point more, I think.

Beautiful, May. I'm making that quilt in autumn prints. I have all my unit made. Just have to sew them together into blocks and then join the blocks. I love your colors.

Now that is a hard one. I love both of them but I think on point makes it a little more special. Glad to hear the little Princess is feeling better.

I just looove those colours! I prefer the on point version.

May Kristin! I've enjoyed catching up on your posts -- and I LOVE LOVE LOVE this pretty quilt. What did you decide -- blocks on point or not???

Christine sa...

Your blocks look gorgeous. I think I prefer them onpoint but lovely either way.
