Birthdaypresents

Together with 10 other ladies, I meet almost weekly in a church where we are so lucky to rent a room for almost nothing. We are all members of the local quilting quild. All of us are not able to meet every week, but that's ok. Sometimes we get a lot done of sewing and stitching, but very often we are talking and laughing more than we are stitching! I guess most of you know how it is! When one of us have been celebrating a "round" or "halfround" birthday, we have received a basket full of goodies together with cake or some else good food.
A couple of months ago I had my 45. birthday. Then I received my basket! And here it is, full of goodies, as you can see!
I got a lot of nice fabrics! You can never get enough of that stuff! Why? I got some good tea, candles, papernapkins, a big candleholder, a nice box, and patterns. The patterns are Rosalie Quinlans "Joy of life" BOM. It is so lovely! I was so lucky to get the three first block patterns!
And guess what? A few days ago I went to see a good friend, and she gave me the last six blocks! How lucky I am! I really am looking forward to start this project! Yes, I know, I must finish my Leannes house BOM first!

Hi from Aus, lucky you to receive Rosies BOM and your Leannes House BOM looks fabulous. You are going to have a fantastic time when she is in Norway.
