Today we have been celebrating our Constitution Day!
This day is special for the children. Both children and adults dress up in their national costumes, if they have one! If not, they wear their best clothes. We have parades for children, with bands in front, marching in the streets, and the children waving with their norwegian flags, singing, shouting, and blowing in their trumpets!
This is a day the children are looking forward to. They are allowed to eat as many ice-cream and hot-dogs they can manage, and drink lots of soft-drinks!
I will share a little of the day with you on the following photos...
View from our house... ( the white house is not ours!)
The local brass band marching in the front of the parade...
My princess...
The band playing in the front of the old peoples home...

The parade started from the local school...
... and ended at the local church, where you could join the sermon if you like...
This church is among Norways oldest churches, parts of it are from the 1100 century...
My princess and her teacher...
Just a cute little fellow...
... and so is this!
