FUN MAIL!

Then the Spring 4SQS is over .
This is the lovely Spring quilt made for me by Sherry, and sent all the way from New Jersey, USA!
Thank you, Sherry!
In some way she might have noticed that I love tulips! LOL! Tulips reminds me of easter, and with easter the spring arrives! I love the cute little lady bug she has put on one of the tulips!
The quilt is foundation paper-pieced and hand-quilted. And with the quilt she also was so generous and sent me some lovely, colourful cards and some cute paper tissues! Thank you again, Sherry. The quilt will be put on the wall in my sewing-room, next to my winter-quilt.
When I came home from our vacation in Florida, there was a surprise waiting for me! Well, it was not actually a surprise, because I knew there would be something waiting for me! The real surprise was WHAT that were waiting for me! A while ago, on her blog, Stina was asking for some pink, plaid fabrics. I was lucky to find some for her in my LQS, and we agreed on doing a swap!
In return I asked to be surprised, and she managed to surprise me!

This is the box waiting for me, I must admit that I waited until I was all alone before I opened it!! LOL! This was MY surprise!
Look at this beautiful wrapped gift that was in the box...

Inside I found this great book I've wanted to buy for a while, and this bundle of sixten beautiful fat quarters! She had ordered the surprise from The Fat Quarter Shop! Isn't she great? I know exactly what to make, I hope I will be able to show you in not too long time!
Thank you, Stina!

Oh, I almost forgot to tell you that the Spring-quilt I made, has reached it's new home, well and safe! Its new home is with Luisa in Lisbon, Portugal!

That's all for now!

Take care everyone!

May Kristin

LOL, yes she definitely knew that you liked tulips. :-) And it looks like you received a well deserved swap package of goodies. Your quilt that you made for Luisa is beautiful as well. I especially liked those few small beads as little sparkly accents.
