FSQS Summer

A while ago I showed you this......it has finally become this...
This is the Summer FSQS quilt for my swap-partner who is..., oh no, sorry, I am not

allowed to say who she is, until she has received it !
It will go in the mail tomorrow! A little late, I know, but I am still preparing our house

for sale. It is a huge job, I can't believe how much we have been collecting over the

last sixteen years...

...we've been working for weeks... puh...

...but I finally found some time to make this quilt...

I have one more week before I need to be finished (on my huge out cleaning), and that is not too much time, I'm afraid...

Oh well, daisies, why daisies? Because, when tulips means spring to me, daisies means summer! For this little quilt, I drew all the flowers by hand, right on to the vliesofix paper,ironed them on to fabric, and cut out. They're all different...none of them look

exactly the same, and I like that...

Then I did some raw-edge appliqué by machine.I am quite pleased with the result!

Hope my partner will like it!
