The following photos are from my quilting guild's last meeting, before we took our summerbreak.
The meeting took place at this old weaving mill, which is not so far away from where I live.
The weaving mill is now a museum, a kind of active museum. They are
still in action, which means they produce a little, just to keep the machines going.
You can come and have a guided tour around, you may also take a workshop, do some felting, both for kids and grown-ups.
I think I will let the photos speak for themselves...
They are carding, colouring, spinning and weaving the wool. 
They are also making the special wool fabric we use in the "bunad", special for this part of Norway. It is a kind of "plissé".

After the tour, we ended up in the cafeteria, where we were served cheese, had some show and tell, some chatting...

wonderful that this still operates.........when I went to Nundle last weekend there is also a woolen mill there which operates on a small scale ........beautiful wools.....
