Great Mail from Gudrun

One of the first weeks in december,
I was so lucky to receive this parcel,
all the way from Iceland and from Gudrun!I just love what she sent me!
In the parcel was some sweets, which my kids, oh well,
the whole family...
...loves...
...chocolate covered raisins!
They are simply the best! I had to hide them, unless they would be cone pretty fast!

Gudrun had made me some gorgeous, red apples, and they will from
now on be a part of my christmas decorations.
She also added a puzzle, for my little princess, but also for me, so that
I can see on the map where my late grandmother was from!
She was born in Flateyri, which you will find in the upper
left corner on the map.
(Just click on the photo to enlarge it.)
The farm where she was born, is named Hvilft.
I have heard it pronounced as Kvilt, I don't know if it is the right way to pronounce it,
but I think it is quite fun, since it is not so far away from the word Quilt!
Thank you, Gudrun, for your very thoughtful gift!

Until next time...
...take care!
May Kristin

What a nice gift from Gudrun. Aren't bloggers so thoughtful! And I enjoyed seeing your little cast iron stove -- my mother has one just like it!
