Here I am,
sitting/laying on the sofa,
in front of my lap-top with fire in the fireplace,
trying to write this post, with tissuepaper and a bad cold as
my only company.
And a little, sleeping beauty, downstairs...
It is not as bad as it sounds...
...I only needed someone to feel a little sorry for me! (LOL)
First of all, a few days ago, I got this award from Kari Anne.
Thank you! I truly feel honoured!
You are supposed to pass it on to seven other creative bloggers,
but I find it hard to name only a few.
Therefor, I'll pass it on to all of you creative ladies out there,
who read this!

In my previous post, I showed you the bag I made for Annie for Christmas.
Gudrun commented that she had to make one for herself.
Since I knew she had this book, where the pattern is...
...and I was thinking of making one for myself...
...I sent her an e-mail, and asked if she was up
for a little challenge!
I think you can call it an on-line sew-along, rather than a challenge,
since we just wanted to have some fun and make the same thing together!
We decided to start last tuesday after work, and take our time.
No stress!
I am sometimes a very slow sewer, (well, rather often) so there is no surprice that
Gudrun finished her bag before I finished mine!
Jump over to her blog and see the great bag she made!
And she need to be comforted too, cause she has a bad arm and neck,
and are not supposed to use her arm for some days!
I wanted my bag to be used both ways,
so I chose coordinated fabrics.
I like black, so black it is!

Your bag is so great. Maybe I will do another now that I know how to do it, thanks to you. Thank you so much for the fun.
Your bag is great!! I simply ADORE mine. Everyone thinks it is a terrific pattern. I went back to school this week and had an entirely new audience, thinking I made it. I had to tell them all about our swap. I am going to check out Gudrun's bag now.
Oooh, I love those gorgeous polka dots on your bag! And try to imagine me there on the sofa next to you -- both with our kleenex, as I'm finding myself with a cold too. Mine is getting better -- I hope yours is too!
How nice to have a cyber sew with Gudrum I think I like the inner bag too. Hope the cold is better soon. Sending lots of warmth from OZ.
