A Christmas Wish by Gail Pan

Gail Pan has designed this gorgeous free BOM,
I've wanted to start this for a long time, and now I finally gave in!
I've made all the six blocks that are available so far,
and like many others, waiting for the next block!
But as I often use to do, I can't manage stick too close to the pattern...
so I chose to make the quilt in all red and cream,
and I am stitching with the variegated red DMC thread no 115,
which I love to use!
I've also set the blocks on point, but haven't decided
how to put the whole quilt together yet...
...I'll wait until all the blocks are finished.

We've had the most beautiful summer-weather over the last days!
I love this warm weather, and they tell us it's going
to last for another week!
Woo-hoo!
Hope you are enjoying the summer,
and for all you australian friends,
I hope you can snuggle up under a comfy quilt and enjoy the dark night with
candles and fire in the fireplace!
Take care!
May Kristin

Hi May Kristin, what beautiful fabrics you have used on these blocks! I have printed out the patterns and hope to use them someday.

I just wanted to let you know that I use the pin cushion you made for me in the Stitcher's Angel Swap every single time I sew. It is my favorite thing on my sewing table. I have also used the darling bag you made me for toting a crochet project on a recent plane trip. It was perfect for the purpose.

And I do believe that my next project is going to be my first pair of socks using the yarn you sent me.

Thanks so much again, and congratulations on winning Helen's giveaway.
