Shopping in Seattle

I know I am VERY late with this post, but as I told you in my
previous post, I've been a little busy!
But here I am!
Always, when I go to USA, I have a few places I just have
to visit...
...Starbucks, you can find them almost everywhere...
...and in Seattle you saw one on every corner...
...nothing strange about that,
because it was here it all started...!...Bath and Body Works...
I love their bodylotions, handcreams, soaps...
...my luggage is always heavy... ;-)
...Brighton...
...I was introduced to Brighton three years ago, and
I've been in love since then...
...in their jewelry, handbags, purses...
...and I didn't leave Seattle without some lovely stuff...LOL

...before I travel, I go online to find a store close to where we are staying...
...and I also always search for quiltshops......!

...this time I was lucky to visit three very different, but great quiltshops...
...two of them in Seattle, and one in Bellevue...
...Undercover Quilts, which is next door to the Pike Place Market, really
worth a visit, because of the surroundings...
...The Quilting Loft, I loved it there...
...and so I did in QuiltWorks Northwest in Bellevue!

...here's some of my lot...

...yes, I know, more stuff...! LOL!
...well, this is not all I brought home, I shopped a lot for some friends, too,
...but I have no pics, sorry ladies!...
...books and magazines...
...I had to buy the book Sylvia's Bridal Sampler from
Because Quiltoholic, Anne Ida's sampler quilt is pictured
in the book!...
(Blogger wasn't playing nice when I uploaded my photos, no
matter what I did, some of them ended up the wrong way!)

...when I went over to Bainbridge Island, I had to visit Esther's Fabrics,
and the fun thing is that they were celebrating their 50 years in business!...

...and one of their ways to celebrate, was to hang 50 quilts in the ceiling!...
...it was a beautiful view...

...I was even so lucky to stumble over a quilt show at this art museum in Bellevue,
the sad thing is that I didn't have anyone there to share it with me...

...but I bought this book so I could share the show in some way, anyway...

...at last, but, may be, not least...
...I found this sign, and I couldn't leave without it...
...sadly(?) - this is so me...
...if you are still there...
...thank you for your patience...
and for visiting...
...no I look forward to some vacation in two weeks, so I can make something from
my lovley fabrics...
Take care and have a lovely week-end!
May Kristin

Looks like you had a fine time in Seattle. I love the fabrics. I'm working on a quilt now using one of the Charisma layer cake packs. Thanks for sharing.
