Handmade Christmas Ornament Swap 2009

Last october/november I
signed up for a
Handmade Christmas Ornament Swap 2009
hosted by Daisy Quilts.
My partner was
Stephanie,
My Calico Heart,
from
N Ireland, GB.
We had e-mailed a little before we swapped,
just to get to know each other a little.
We both mailed our parcels on time,
mine for her arrived safely a few days later.
But hers for me, took a little longer!
I waited patiently for two weeks, still nothing!
I e-mailed her to tell her that it still hadn't arrived,
but I wished I had been just a little more patient, because
the little parcel showed up the very next day!
And the same day she had been to the post-office,
and posted another parcel for me!
So here I am,
the lucky recipient of nothing less than
two ornament parcels!
Thank you, Stephanie, for the very cute ornaments you made for me,
and for your kindness!
And thank you, for remembering
my little princess!
I will make her something special
from the princess-fabric!

This is what I made for her!
I so much loved making these, I had to make some
for myself as well!

Take care!
May Kristin

I spent a little time this morning catching up on your blog posts. I've been away too long. I love all the ornaments. Hope you have a very happy, peaceful, and prosperous New Year, May.

your little ornaments are adorable!
red and white is just a wonderful combination for Christmas for me!
I can understand why you had to make a pair of the stockings for yourself!
happy new year!

I LOVE the stockings you made. I'd want to make myself some too.
