Over at Blueberry Lane designs, Carey is challenging us to show our pincushions. She is having a giveaway, giving away three copies of Lynette Anderson's, The Pincushion Book, which is now out of stock!
First of all I thought I might be too late to enter! Hopefully I'm not! Second thought was, oh well, I don't have any pincushions to show, anyway! My third thought was, ok, let's have a look, and I realized I had a few pincushions after all! You can see them all on the photo above. The square one to the left, I almost never use, it is to pretty, I think!
The pincushion below, is one of my favourites. It's great to use when I'm sewing down the binding on smaller quilts etc.
Like many others out there in blogland, I couldn't resist this cute little stitchery! It's the first block in a BOM named Noah's Ark, that Lynette Anderson is so sweet to share with us! For free! There are more blocks to come, so jump over to her blog and join! It was fast and fun to stitch, so now I'm waiting for the next block!
Until next time, take care!
May Kristin

Great collection - I do like the one with the thread catcher. I have put the stitchery on my to do list for today.
Thank you for posting a picture of your pincushions and for the link to the giveaway! I'm hoping I won't be too late to enter as well!
You got some great pincusions. The little flower in the thread, do you have a pattern for that one. It was so cute. You know we are having a pincushion exhibition at the annual quiltmeeting.
Nice pincushions...the one on your thumb was clever!!! Haven´t seen anyone like that before...
Lovely colours you have chosen for your Noah´s Ark...mine is on it´s way!!
The little flower pincushion on the thread spool is so cute. It seems that you are all doing the Noah´s ark BOM I really should join too.
In my Wednesday sewing group, we all just made one like the one on your thumb. I think that one is going to be a favorite for me too. Thanks for sharing all your pincushions!
Love that rabbit block.
