This'n that

Today I've done just a little bit sewing. I made these two purses. They are made of waxed fabric for tablecloths, which I bought very cheap on sale in july. I got the idea that I could make smaller and bigger purses for different use. The left one is my oldest daughter going to use as a pencilcase and the other one is for make-up. A few weeks ago I saw on Gudrun's blog some hexagon-purses. I was so happy, because she had a link to, I think it is a kind of tv-show, where a lady had a demonstration on how to make this purse. I had earlier seen a glimpse of it twice on QNN, but could not figure out how to get it finished! And here it is! It is quite small, I have used 1/2" hexagons, so the whole purse measures only 2 1/2"! The bigger the hexagons are, the bigger the purse will be! Fast and fun to make!
And when we are in the corner of minitures, let me show you my smallest quilt. It is 5" x 5" big, or should I say small? I have used 1/4" hexagons, they are so tiny and not the easiest patches to work with!

Selvfølgelig kan du linke til meg. Bare koselig det! Linker til din side jeg også.
Så fine ting du har sydd av voksduk! Og for et pirkete arbeid det må ha vært å få til den miniatyrquilten! Imponerende!

Ser at du bruker QNN, men har du prøvd http://www.quilterstv.com/
De har den samme lille veska som du har laget og der kan du se det om igjen så ofte du vil!!
Kos deg!!

It must be a little difficult to sew voksduk! It was Nadine at http://sewingnana.blogspot.com/ which told me about the little bags. They are great to make.
