4SQS Summer

I'm back, I hope!!

In my last post I promised you photos of my 4SQS summer quilt. And here they are!

The quilt came all the way from Australia, from Jane!

Thank you, Jane!

The quilt is gorgeous, and her handquilting is beautiful!

I wished I was that good!

In the card she sent me and, on her blog, she wrote this;

"I have named it 'Bushfire Sun' as the colors remind me of the unusual color and haze of the sun, and the quilting reminds me of the radiant heat."

I have never been near any bushfires in my life, so I think it must be both

scaring and facinating!

Thank you again Jane, for this gorgeous little quilt!

And also a big thank you to Margaret, aka Supermom, for hosting this swap!

I have three quilts from different parts of the world, from Europe, USA and Australia, winter,

spring and summer quilts. The only one I miss, is the fall.

May be I have to make myself a little fallquilt, just to

cover all the four seasons!
