Linda's Bag

Finally I can show you photos of the bag I made in Linda's bag swap! Many of you may already
have seen the bag over at Linda's blog.
When I first saw who my swap partner was, I felt a bit scared, because I know how talented
she is!
And then I thought, well, she is a nice lady, she is clever, she is the hostess of the swap, ...
I want to make her a special bag, and I want to spoil her a bit...!
I picked the fabrics...
...but used quite a long time, deciding which fabric to use where...(like I allways do, grrr!)
Since she was the swaphostess, and knew who her "secret" swap-partner was, I couldn't
show any photos of the process!

As I said, I wanted to spoil her a little, so I added some bits and bobs!

I made the little thread holder from Leanne's great tutorial...

...the covered tapemeasure is from another great tutorial from A spoonful of sugar.

Thank you both for your great tutorials!

I wished I could take credit for the bag pattern, but I can't.

The pattern is made by a norwgian designer, AnnaKa.

It is called Matilde's sommerveske.( Matilde's summerbag)

The pattern and most of the fabrics, are bought at my LQS Kreativ Quilt, in Kristiansand.

After looking at the photos I had taken,

I realized I forgot to take photos of the bag after I had sewn the buttons on the pockets...

If you want to see them, you can just hop over to Linda's blog.

She has some nice photos.

Thank you Linda, for hosting this fun swap!

Take care everyone, and have a nice week-end!

I will, because this week-end we will be a complete family again!

My kids will be home over the next week, they're having their fall-break,

and my husband comes home for the week-end!

May Kristin

PS. Linda loved the bag!

Hi, cool bag. Just wondering where you got the thimble holder idea/pattern from?
