Cupcakeswap

This summer Mrs Red Geranium Cottage was hosting a cupcake swap. I had to
sign up, because it looked fun! My daughter
loves to make cupcakes, (and I love to eat them...), so why not?
You could put whatever you liked in the parcel, but it had to have a cupcake theme!
My partner was Sandy from the US, sadly she doesn't have a blog!
The deadline was aug 18th. Long before that, my parcel arrived!
I knew it was on it's way, so it was so exciting when it finally arrived! ...lots of small parcels...

...look at all this lovely stuff she had put in the box... I really liked what she wrote in the card...
"...a cookbook for cupcake recipies...
...apron to wear when you make your cupcakes...
...cups to put your cupcake batter in...
...sprinkles for fancy cupcakes...
...cup and tea to enjoy with your cupcake...
...washcloth to use for your cupcake dishes...
...towel to dry your cupcake dishes...
...chocolate to enjoy at the end of the day!..."
She made the apron, washcloth, towel and napkin, all with cupcake motifs!
Thank you again, Sandy!
I had my DD1 to model for me. She's a much better model than me, a little thinner...

...well... actually... a lot thinner than me.....hmm...
Sandy was so kind to offer me a delay for sending my parcel to her, due to the
very busy time I had in the first three weeks of august...
...so when I was done, this is what I sent her...

Thank you for hosting this fun swap, Sharon!

Take care everyone!

May Kristin
